In a bid to mark the momentous occasion 100 years of the arrival of Mahatma Gandhi to India from South Africa, a postal stamp was released by Government of India in 2015.

During his 21 years stay in South Africa, Gandhi arrived in India on January 9, 1915. After his returning, he launched his movement especially from Mumbai.

Needless to say, 2 October is remembered as the Gandhi Jayanti which is an occasion for all of us to rededicate ourselves to the ideals and values of the Father of the Nation, Mahatma Gandhi.

Prem Nazir;  The evergreen hero of Malayalam cinema
Prem Nazir was the leading Indian actor who known for his glroious works in Malayalam cinema. He was born on 7 April 1926.

The Merchant of Venice (1951) was the Prem Nazir's debut movie in which he played the role of Shylock.

Dr. Keshav Baliram Hedgewar was the founding Sarsanghachalak of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh comonly known as (RSS)in Nagpur in 1925
